Argentine ants colonies can grow bigger than you can ever think, sometimes covering the entire habitat. These ants have workers as well as queens. While the queen helps in foraging food, workers collect the food. Workers ants are roughly 1/16 of an inch while queens are typically ¼ of an inch in length.
Caribbean Crazy Ants
Caribbean crazy ants are fast paced ants that put a lot of energy while searching for food.
Carpenter ants make their nests in wood by creating smooth tunnels inside the wood. They can size from ¼ of an inch to ¾ of an inch.
Odorous House Ants
Odorous ants release coconut-type smell when they are crushed. These small ants size up to 1/8 of an inch once fully grown.
Pavement ants are known for making their nests in cracks, usually in pavements.
